Dress Appropriately
Dress Appropriately is a project I did about street abuse women experienced on the daily. I collected street abuse phrases that women have experienced. I spoke to the people around me as well as using phrases from @catcallsofnyc on instagram to create this collection. As the book progresses the women become more and more modestly dressed but the street abuse still persists. This is to imply the message it doesn’t matter what she was wearing and to stop victim blaming.
